The murder mystery is called the Pink Lace Diamond. The event location will be a real Inn. It will be a large group, so we will have actors playing the main parts. The event will start with a luncheon to introduce the players and plot. We will then proceed to live the weekend as if we were staying at a lovely country Inn complete with luncheons, afternoon teas, formal dinners and breakfast with menus suitable to the era. The thing is I was instantly confused. I don’t really understand how they work, and from what I read you need a kit to play, but I don’t want to buy the kit and I don’t think one is available in my stores. So I guess what I’m asking is: Is there a way to play without a kit? Can I make up my own story line and if so, how do I do that?
