Getting Loremaster In WoW
June 19, 2011The Loremaster title in WoW is one of the achievements that pretty much every player wants to get.
The problem is that most players do not want to spend the time it takes to complete everything required to get this achievement.
The Loremaster achievement is pretty much the same for both horde and alliance with the exception being that obviously you will be questing in different zones to complete the achievement.
It involves working through a set amount of quests in each zone on Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdom.
There are a couple ways to complete the required amount of quests in each zone and one is much easier than the other.
You can simply start running around finding quests you may not have done while you were leveling and knock those out. You can then take a look at World of Warcraft related sites online for the quests in each zone to figure out which ones you have not completed.
This can take a very long time and is the number one reason most people tend to give up working on the Loremaster achievement.
An easier way to get it done is by using a Quest Helper that has built in routes that let you walk through all the quests you need to get done very easy.
The are not that many of these Quest Helper addons that offer the ability to do the Loremaster achievement so your options are kind of limited.
In either method you want to be prepared to spend a very good amount of time doing quests as it requires a ton of quests in total to get the achievement.
I normally will set aside a day of playing time for each zone so that I can knock those out and then move along with raiding, battlegrounds, professions or whatever it is I want to get done in the game.
The lower level zones will be pretty quick and easy if you are at the level cap or in the higher level range so you can knock out these areas pretty fast.
If you leveled through quests you will find that you probably already have completed a fair amount of the required quests and just need to go through and clean up the ones you have not done.
I have completed the Loremaster achievement on each of my 6 level 85 toons and in most cases I have found that there really are not that many quests in each zone that I needed to complete.
This is mainly because I always level my toons through questing as it is the fastest way to get any toon to the level cap.
Whatever method you decide to follow, have patience and don’t burn yourself out trying to get the World of Warcraft Loremaster achievement all in one day.
